“All she wants is to be a pop singer, a common dream one should think. But Arghavan happens to come from Iran, a country that forbids women to perform in public. Singing there is a crime with no legal base that can get you jailed or worst. Faced with such injustice, Arghavan has decided to put the microphone down and hold a camera instead, here’s is an excerpt of a documentary she’s been doing on her own to defend the rights for women to express their arts.
